My First STep

Hi guys. Thanks for dropping by. I'm so totally new to this whole blogging thing, that I feel lost and somewhat overwhelmed. I'm not technically inclined at any level, so constructing this blog was a real undertaking for me. My friends laugh at me constantly because I work in the fast moving technological world of wireless voice and data sales solutions, but am scarcely able to send even the most rudementary text message. LOL... Talk about irony, huh?

Anyway, Today I'm feeling a little depressed. I slept all day because i was totally worn out from the work week and woke up with a pounding headache. In addition, it's raining torentially and it's hot and muggy as hell. I don't mind the heat, i love heat, but it's the mugginess I can't stand. It makes me feel lethargic and hazy. I guess I shouldn't complain though... and I'm not really.

It's the weirdest thing, my significant other and I have seven cute little cats. She calls them our babies because they're the only kids we have together. She has three children from a previous marriage and I love them all like they were my own flesh and blood. They're so amazing and she's really done a tremendous job raising them. The oldest son graduated college last year and the other two (they're twins) are scheduled to gradute in 2-3 more years. In this day and age, three for three is an amazing feat.

When I first came into my signigicant other's life, the boys were just kids and they were not receptive to me at all because my significant other had just divorced her husbund a year or two prior. They loved their father and hoped their family would one day be reunited. So when I showed up on the scene, they saw me as barrier between them and biological family. For the first few years, things were strained and extremely uncomfortable, but then, over time, everything worked itself out and we all became the very best of friends. :o)

Now let me tell you a little about the real drama I've been going through since 2003. A demented cyberstalker has been stalking me since 2003. Her name is Ashley and she lives in Penns Grove, NJ. Ashley and her band of cyber thugs have been dogging me unrelentingly. Here's what's been happening...and you should all be afraid...very afraid because it may also be happening to you without you even knowing it. I only knew it was happening to me because they wanted me to know it was happening. Back in 2003, I noticed my emails were disappearing. I called AOL (my carrier at the time)and told them about it, but they said there was nothing they could do about it. So, I changed my passcode. Still it kept happening. It had gotten to the point where I'd changed my password so much that I couldn't even keep up with it. Then I started getting harrassing emails that were coming from my own account. It was an email from my account to my account. I'd never seen anything like it. The emails threatened to tear my family apart. After that, my voicemails started disappearing too, even after I'd changed my passcode a million times. Weird right? Well hold on because it gets even weirder. All of my phone calls were being tapped! Both landline and cell. I knew this because I was talking to a college friend of mine one night about taking a trip to Australia and then my significant other got an email from my AOL account stating my buddy and I were going to Australia without her. On another occassion, a voicemail containing an announcement that I had gotten a job I'd interviewed for was lifted from my voicemail on the day I recieved it and returned to it a month later. I was out of work for almost two years because of instances like that. I'd go to an interview, wait for a call, and then get a response a week or two later saying I got the job, then when I called to accept, they'd say the job was already filled because I'd never responded to the offer. We almost lost our apartment as a result.

At the same time all this was happening, my phone was ringing off the hook ten to twelve times an hour with stopping at all times of the day and night without relenting and all those calls were coming from my cell phone number. It was particularly frustrating because I didn't know if the call was legit or not because sometimes the calls were coming from my phone, and other times it was coming from my friends' and family's phone numbers. I didn't know if I was coming or going and it drove a wedge between me and my family and friends. We drifted apart because they were leaving me messages and I wasn't responding to them because I wasn't getting them.

Then women I hadn't spoken to in years started calling me saying they saw my phone number on their caller id's. As you can imagine, this didn't sit well with my significant other and we almost separated. She didn't believe any of it until the harrassing calls, missing voicemails and missing emails started happening to her too.

When I went to the police about what was happening, they didnt believe me and called me a liar. They said that what was happening to me was impossible. When I saw Ashley in court with her band of cyberthugs, she laughed at me and told me she'd never be caught. Those words were so prophetic. I took her to court then she took me to court. It was ridiculous!

Recently, Ashley has targeted my elderly mother. My mother has health issues and has a difficult time sleeping throught the night, so what does this Ashley do, she calls my mother 50 times a night (during the am hours) so she can't sleep. As a result, my mother was forced take her phone off the hook which is a bad thing because now I can't call her to make sure she's all right.

A couple of years ago, I went to see the last Die Hard movie and it scared the daylights out of me because it really hit home. It was about a cyber-thug who controlled the world by shutting things down with his computer. Ashley has shut my mother's landline down so she couldn't make or receive calls and is currently cutting my mother's phone conversations in mid sentence. Please let me know if anything like this has happened to you or someone you know so I can alert the authorities.

Whew! That was a mouthful! Stay tuned for the first chapter on Tuesday.
